Administration (continued) and Safety Measures
In this part of the course, we will continue our discussion on the administration of cannabis and cannabinoids. We will also discuss measures that should be taken to prevent the use of cannabis by individuals other than the intended patient.
Physiological changes in the endocannabinoid system take place in response to exposure to cannabis.
An individual may develop a tolerance to some of the effects of cannabis and cannabinoids.
An individual’s health status may change over time and physiological changes in the endocannabinoid system take place in response to medical conditions.
An individual may start or stop taking a medication that interacts with cannabis.
