Click the link to activate your account. After registering and activating your account, you may purchase the course. Once you have purchased the course, begin studying by clicking the "Study Now" tab and selecting the "New York State Practitioner Education - Medical Use of Marijuana Course" specialty.

Practitioners who have completed the course and who wish to register with NYSDOH to certify patients for medical marijuana must follow the below steps:

  1. Log into the Health Commerce System,
  2. Select “All Applications” from the “My Content” dropdown menu,
  3. Click the “M” tab, find the Medical Marijuana Data Management System (MMDMS) application in the list, and click the green and white “+” icon in the “Add/Remove” column to add the MMDMS application.
  4. After selecting the MMDMS application, practitioners will be prompted to enter information to complete the registration process.
